Mission

Every patient deserves to be accurately represented in the medical record.

We built Burse™ because too often, the care delivered, the conditions managed, and the clinical complexity carried by providers are not fully reflected in the record. Our mission is to help close that gap — with evidence, workflow, and support that make documentation more complete, more defensible, and less burdensome for care teams.

Why we exist

Providers and care teams work under enormous pressure. They manage complex patients, make difficult decisions, and carry the responsibility of documenting care in systems that were not designed to make that work easy.

When the medical record does not fully reflect what is happening clinically, everyone feels the impact. Patients may not be represented accurately. Providers may be asked to revisit documentation after the moment of care has passed. Organizations may face reimbursement gaps, compliance risk, and uncertainty about what was truly supported.

We built Burse™ to help make that work clearer. Burse™ brings clinical evidence, documentation support, workflow routing, and closure tracking into one process so teams can act earlier, document with greater clarity, and know which opportunities reached verified closure.

At its core

Our mission is simple: help the record more accurately reflect the patient, the care delivered, and the work already being done.

Our principles
01
Honor the work already happening

Providers and care teams are already doing the hard clinical work. Burse™ helps make that work more visible, supportable, and complete in the record.

02
Protect provider time

Documentation support should reduce burden, not create another generic task list. Follow-up should be specific, evidence-based, and routed only when action is needed.

03
Represent patients more completely

Patients with complex conditions deserve records that reflect the full clinical picture, not only what was easiest to capture in a single encounter.

04
Make trust possible

Leaders should be able to see what was found, what evidence supported it, who acted, and whether the opportunity reached verified closure.
